The Power of = the Resurrection

A.= Easter combines pagan, Jewish & Christian belief.
· The name “Easter” comes from the Anglo-Saxson “Eastre= ”, a Teutonic goddess of spring & fertility. Her celebration occurred in April = near the vernal equinox.
· The Passover of the Jews.
· The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.= p>

Some Christians celebrated Easter the first
Sunday after Passover, and some on the day after Passover.
