A.     Rev. 15:3 – There is music in heaven.

·        Rev.  14:1-3 – Singing and instruments.

·        Luke 2:13 – The angels sang praises at Christ’s birth.

·        Psalm 69:30-31 – Praise music pleases God.

·        She heard the angels sing.

B.     Ex. 32:17-18 – Satan has perverted what God created.

·        The Hebrew “awnaw” means depressing & degrading.

·        Music is made up of the melody, harmony, rhythm, tempo, timbre and dynamics.

·        Not all music is pleasing to God, but not only one kind of music is pleasing to God.

·        Johann Sebastian Bach was considered irreverent.

·        Charles Wesley was considered sacrilegious.

C.     2 Chron. 20:20-22 – The power of music to deliver & save.

D.     Psalm 150 – The Christian’s music should soothe & inspire

·        Zeph. 3:17 – God’s music is that which rejoices.

·        Psalm 137:1-4 – When they were sad they did not sing.
