1. John 10:7-9 – All are robbers, but Jesus is the door of salvation

A. All are robbers.

· 1 Kings 8:46 – There is no one who does not sin.

· Isa. 1:5-6 – The whole head is sick & the heart is faint.

· Rom. 3:10 & 23 – All have sinned and fall short.

· Rom. 5:6 – We are ungodly in all our ways.

· Isa. 64:6 – Even our good deed are tainted by sin.

· 2 Cor. 10:12 – Comparing ourselves among ourselves.

· James 2:8-12 – There is only one standard of right.

· General Montgomery’s orders.

B. Jesus is the door.

· Acts. 4:12 – There is no other means of salvation.

· 1 Cor. 3:11 – There is no other foundation.

· The angry woman who wanted another option.

· John 3:16-17 – Jesus died for the whole world.

· John 17:20 – Jesus died for each one individually.

· James 4:12 – Jesus is the Lawgiver.

· Luke 13:22 & 34 – Jesus longs for us to be saved.

“Jesus gazes upon the scene, and the vast multitude hush their shouts, spellbound by the sudden vision of beauty. All eyes turn upon the Saviour, expecting to see in His countenance the admiration they themselves feel. But instead of this they behold a cloud of sorrow.
